Nikol Murphy began her career in the hospitality industry as a hostess for a 400 seat dining room and quickly fell in love with the excitement, passion, creativity and electricity that is what makes an event memorable.  After taking some time off to start a family, Nikol started, Chantoosie Events, which is a full-service event planning company based in Holly Springs, North Carolina and was previously based in Boulder, Colorado under the name by nikol events. Chantoosie Events specializes in weddings, parties, corporate social events and non-profit fundraisers. We offer full-service wedding and event planning, hourly consulting and specialize in 'day-of' coordination for any event. 

Chantoosie Events, offers planning in the entire Research Triangle area, including Holly Springs, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Chapel Hill, Durham, Cary and Raleigh.  We are excited about traveling to the Outer Banks soon!  Nikol Murphy has planned weddings in Boulder, Colorado, Denver, Colorado, New Orleans, Louisiana, Marco Island, Florida and Naples, Florida.  She has experience planning weddings along the Boulder Creek, on a Paddleboat, on the beach and at a Southern Plantation. Although, Nikol is firmly planted in North Carolina, she can still be tempted to travel for the right destination wedding.
